From Daily Use to Track Days

As a direct descendant of the Tuono V4, the Tuono 660 is equipped with a 660cc engine, recreated for the middleweight segment.
The Tuono 660 embodies Aprilia's "new concept of versatile sport riding" introduced with the RS 660, and has been developed to be enjoyable in all scenarios, from daily use and track riding to tandem journeys.
The 660cc parallel-twin engine produces a maximum output of 95 hp (96 ps). With a dry weight of 183 kg, it is one of the lightest in its class.
In addition to three riding modes for public roads, two riding modes are also available for track use: "Challenge," designed to maximize the Tuono 660's potential, and "Time Attack," a logic that allows advanced riders to fully customize electronic control settings.
The frame consists of two lateral rods bolted to the headstock and rear sections, with a compact and lightweight structure that also utilizes the engine as a swingarm pivot. Unlike the RS 660, two connection points between the engine and frame have been implemented to achieve manageable and predictable handling.
Furthermore, ergonomic development allows for an active riding position without excessive weight on the handlebars. Aprilia claims this enhances relaxed comfort during city riding while still enjoying sporty performance.
The front suspension features KYB adjustable upside-down front forks with 41mm inner tubes, and the braking system comprises two 320mm stainless steel discs, Brembo radial-mount calipers, and a Brembo radial master cylinder.
The tires are Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II, providing the grip required for track riding.
Color variations include a new Acid Gold, which is also popular for the RS 660, among a total of three colors. The price is 1,309,000 yen, with deliveries starting in June 2021. However, the Acid Gold color will be available from September.
