Honda Civic Gets Standard Safety Driving Support System After Minor Improvements | Honda
Honda Civic Sedan
Honda Civic Hatchback
Civic Refined
Honda announced on Friday, January 10, that it will release partially improved "Civic Sedan" and "Civic Hatchback" models on Thursday, January 23.
Exterior Design Also Partially Revised
The current Civic model was unveiled in 2017. This refinement includes the standard fitment of the "Honda SENSING" safety driving support system across all grades, as well as changes to the exterior design.
For the Civic Sedan, the designs of the front bumper and rear garnish, as well as the color of the aluminum wheels, have been changed. The interior features standard combination seats, pursuing a sense of premium quality.
The Hatchback also receives design changes and the addition of a top-load sunroof. Furthermore, the shift knob shape for the 6-speed manual transmission model has been refined for a more satisfyingly crisp gear shift.
There are no changes to the powertrain; a 1.5-liter turbo engine is installed. The transmission is a CVT, with a 6-speed manual available only for the Hatchback. Both are front-wheel drive.
The body colors offered for the Sedan include 6 colors, with the new Premium Crystal Blue Metallic. The Hatchback is available in 5 colors, with 3 new shades added.
Prices start at 2,761,000 yen for the Sedan, and 2,948,000 yen for both the CVT and 6-speed manual Hatchback.
