Honda has announced its new road sport model, the "Hawk 11." It will be released on Thursday, September 29, 2022.

Honda has announced the "Hawk 11," a large motorcycle for the Japanese market.

The powertrain features a 1-liter inline two-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

In terms of features, it incorporates electronic control technologies to support riding, such as the "Throttle By Wire (TBW) system," which contributes to a direct throttle response befitting a sport model; "Riding Modes," which allow selection of preset output characteristics based on riding conditions and rider preference; and "Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)," which mitigates front-wheel lift and rear-wheel slip.

The chassis utilizes a semi-double cradle frame combined with 17-inch front and rear wheels, set with a 25° caster angle for nimble handling. Honda states that the dimensions are designed for enjoyable winding road riding, with a forward-leaning riding position achieved by separate handlebars.

Additionally, ABS, which enables secure braking operations in various riding conditions, is standard equipment.

The styling is characterized by an integrated FRP rocket cowl, forming the focal point. The parts are arranged based on the intersection of horizontal lines extending front to back and vertical lines separating the tank and seat, creating a silhouette that comfortably accommodates the rider.

It is available in two colors: "Pearl Hawk's Eye Blue," based on a deep shade of blue, and "Graphite Black," with a hard-textured black base. The price is ¥1,397,000.
