The Latest "Longtail" Model

Orders for the "McLaren 765LT," announced in early March, have officially begun.
The "McLaren 765LT" is a model with roots in the "McLaren F1 GTR Longtail," a racing car that debuted in the late 1990s. It succeeds the "McLaren 675LT" and "McLaren 600LT," which revived the "Longtail" name in 2015.
Compared to the "720S" base model, this model features enhanced performance and an 80kg weight reduction. The power unit has been boosted by 45ps and 30Nm of torque, producing 765ps and 800Nm. It also features circuit-tuned suspension and a transmission with 15% faster in-gear acceleration.
The exterior has also been enhanced. The popular LT features, such as louvered carbon fiber front fenders and an all-titanium sports exhaust system with four pipes, can be specified at no additional cost.
Furthermore, the LT-bespoke 10-spoke ultralightweight forged alloy wheels come standard in a platinum finish and are secured with titanium wheel bolts.
The interior comes standard with LT Alcantara interior trim, carbon fiber racing seats, and shift paddles, along with features that enhance usability such as a rearview camera and parking sensors.
The price in Japan will be 44.5 million yen.
