BMW has added the BMW "i4 eDrive35," an entry-level model of the BEV i4, to the lineup of its four-door coupe model, the 4 Series Gran Coupé, and has begun sales.

The BMW "i4," a BEV model based on the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé, which is characterized by its sporty yet elegant styling, now has an entry-level model, the BMW i4 eDrive35, added to its lineup.

While it is an entry-level model, the electric motor mounted at the rear generates a maximum output of 210kW (286ps) and a maximum torque of 400Nm. The drive system is rear-wheel drive. The capacity of the lithium-ion battery housed beneath the floor is 199Ah, with a total energy capacity of 70.3kWh, providing a driving range of 532km on a single charge.

The safety and driver assistance systems are also standard equipment, similar to other mid-size and above BMW models, featuring a cutting-edge driver assistance system using a high-performance three-camera and radar setup. This system includes "Traffic Jam Assistant with Hands-Off Function," which reduces the driver's workload and contributes to safety during traffic jams on highways. Under certain conditions, this driver assistance system allows for driving with hands off the steering wheel.
