Renault Japon has announced the "Kangoo Panache," a limited edition model of the Kangoo available in five body colors. A total of 380 units will be sold.

The Kangoo welcomes the "Panache," a limited edition model whose name means "to enrich with color" in French.

The "Panache" embodies a desire to bring more French color sensibility to Japanese streets. It is available in five body colors: Yellow "Jaune Agrumes," Orange "Orange Clémentine," Red "Rouge Vif," White "Ivoire," and Gray "Gris Ardoise."

Except for the yellow "Jaune Agrumes," the front grille blades are body-colored. Additionally, all colors feature black front and rear bumpers, and black door mirrors.

The powertrain is a 1.2-liter turbo engine producing 84 kW (115 ps) of maximum output and 190 Nm (19.4 kgm) of maximum torque. In addition to the 6-speed automatic transmission (EDC), a limited edition of 30 units in white "Ivoire" is also available with a manual transmission.

Sales are limited to 50 units each for the automatic transmission models in orange, red, and yellow, and 100 units each for white and gray. The white "Ivoire" model, the only one available with a 6-speed manual transmission, is limited to 30 units. Applications will be accepted until Sunday, January 31, 2021, and a lottery may be held if demand is high.

The price is 2,647,000 yen for the AT model and 2,546,000 yen for the MT model.
