'Q by Aston Martin' Premieres Customized DBX
On March 4, Aston Martin announced the DBX, customized by Aston Martin's personalization service 'Q by Aston Martin,' via its dedicated video channel, following the cancellation of the Geneva Motor Show 2020 due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Showcasing the Potential of 'Q by Aston Martin' Personalization
A customized model of the DBX, Aston Martin's first SUV and scheduled for release this year, has been unveiled.
Furthermore, three designer specifications will be added to the DBX lineup: 'Q by Aston Martin-Commission,' 'Q by Aston Martin-Collection,' and 'Q by Aston Martin-Accessories.' These aim to demonstrate the personalization capabilities achievable through the 'Q by Aston Martin' service.
The 'Q by Aston Martin-Commission' allows for the creation of a tailor-made DBX reflecting personal preferences. It features bold exterior styling with 22-inch gloss black wheels. Inside, machined, bespoke diamond-patterned satin chrome aluminum jewelry pieces provide striking accents against the obsidian black leather interior.
Another striking element in the DBX cabin is the unique carbon fiber used for the center console and door trims, which appears to float. These components, requiring advanced techniques, are machined from solid blocks composed of 280 layers of hand-laid carbon fiber.
The 'Q by Aston Martin-Collection,' on the other hand, offers pre-determined option packages. This particular package, developed by Aston Martin's internal design team, combines a satin Xenon Grey body color with a carbon fiber lower exterior pack and black anodized tread and sill plates.
With a DBX offering diverse choices, from reflecting personal tastes to stylish models curated by Aston Martin, anticipation builds for its appearance at the Geneva Motor Show.
