McLaren Makes First Appearance at Tokyo Auto Salon

McLaren Automotive Asia announced on Tuesday, December 10th, that it will make its debut at the "Tokyo Auto Salon 2020," to be held from Friday, January 10th to Sunday, January 12th, 2020, at Makuhari Messe.

Two Models Displayed: The "McLaren GT" and "720S"

McLaren makes its first appearance at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The two models on display will be the grand tourer "McLaren GT," announced in May 2019, and the "720S," the flagship model of the Super Series.

The "McLaren GT" is a new model introduced as a new series following McLaren's existing Sports, Super, and Ultimate Series. Its powertrain features a 4-liter V8 turbo engine generating a maximum output of 620ps and a peak torque of 630Nm.

The "720S," on the other hand, is the second generation of the Super Series, equipped with a 4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that produces 720ps and 770Nm of torque. This supercar achieves 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds.

Furthermore, a press conference is scheduled from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Friday, January 10th, the first day of the Tokyo Auto Salon, featuring a business presentation.
