On Tuesday, February 25, Lexus announced its participation in "Milan Design Week 2020," the world's largest design event held in Milan, Italy, in April, where it will host "LEXUS DESIGN EVENT 2020 - SENSES ELECTRIFIED."

This marks Lexus's 13th appearance at Milan Design Week. This year, the brand aims to showcase an experiential installation that resonates with human senses and expands perceptions, inspired by its "Lexus Electrified" vision. This vision underscores Lexus's commitment to continuing to deliver the enjoyment and pleasure of automobiles even as the mobility society evolves with advancements like autonomous driving.

Additionally, the EV concept car "LF-30 Electrified," symbolizing the electrification vision, will be exhibited at the venue.

The collaborative designer for this event is Loop.PH, a spatial design studio based in London that specializes in installations blending digital and material elements.

Matthias Gumz, founder and director, commented, "With 'SENSES ELECTRIFIED,' we aimed to stimulate the senses and offer visitors new discoveries and 'amazing' experiences beyond that. The installation invites attendees into a space where they can experience the expansion of senses brought about by electrification."

The venue will also feature prototype works by the six finalists of the "Lexus Design Award 2020," an international design competition that spotlights emerging creators. On Monday, April 20, the finalists will present their works during the press day, and the Grand Prix winner will be announced.
