Features a Fixed Rear Wing, a First Since the F50 for a Road-Legal Car

Among the XX models, designed to offer discerning customers the thrill of circuit driving, the "SF90 XX Stradale," the first road-legal variant, has finally arrived in Japan.
At the event, dubbed "Ferrari Night," Dieter Knechtel, Regional Manager for Ferrari Far East & Middle East, described the SF90 XX Stradale as "the first road-legal car to fuse the ultimate technical characteristics of a special series car with the technical characteristics of the XX program." This highlights its unique position within the Ferrari lineup.
The powertrain is a PHEV inherited from the "SF90 Stradale," combining a 4-liter V8 engine with three electric motors. Two motors are mounted independently on the front axle, while the third is positioned between the rear engine and the gearbox.
This configuration enhances performance, resulting in a maximum system output of 1,030 cv (757 kW), a 30 cv increase over the SF90 Stradale. It achieves a top speed of 320 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds. The car can also travel 25 km in full electric mode.
Notably, the downforce generation is significant. With features such as a fixed rear wing—a first for a road-legal model in 28 years—the downforce is doubled compared to the maximum of the "SF90 Stradale," generating 530 kg at 250 km/h.
The braking system has also been upgraded accordingly, greatly enhancing its circuit performance.
The exterior has also been significantly redesigned, with the primary goal of increasing downforce from the original model. The front air intake's wing shape has been substantially altered. At the rear, in addition to the wing, dual exhaust pipes and a long-tail silhouette contribute to a sharper, more radical design, enhancing its aggressive character.
The venue where this special "SF90 XX Stradale" was unveiled was also graced by Ferrari racing driver Charles Leclerc, who was in Japan for the Grand Prix. He added to the excitement of the special evening with a talk show and other appearances.
