Subaru Introduces Top-Tier "STI Sport" and Hybrid Models for Impreza
Subaru has begun sales with the addition of the top-grade "STI Sport," tuned by STI, and hybrid models to the "Impreza."

First-Ever FF Model for the "STI Sport" Series
The fifth-generation Impreza, unveiled in 2016, now features the top-tier "STI Sport" and hybrid models.
The "STI Sport," equipped with a 2.0-liter horizontally opposed 4-cylinder engine, features a SHOWA mechanical continuously variable damping system tuned by STI (Subaru Tecnica International) for its suspension. This contributes to a comfortable ride and agile, sporty performance.

Furthermore, the "STI Sport" series now includes an FF (front-engine, front-wheel drive) model for the first time. This configuration leverages the driving characteristics of power directed only to the front wheels for a more comfortable drive. The exterior features black accents on various parts, with exclusive body colors including Ceramic White and WR Blue Pearl.
The interior is coordinated with red stitching, expressing a sporty aesthetic.

The "Advance" and "2.0e-L EyeSight" models, featuring the "e-BOXER" hybrid system that combines a 2.0-liter horizontally opposed engine with a motor, have also been newly introduced. In addition to brisk acceleration assisted by the electric motor, the adaptive transmission "e-Active Shift Control" is employed to provide more sporty driving support during cornering.
The "Advance" model features a coordinated exterior with a gray metallic front grille, aluminum wheels, and a rear spoiler, while the interior is designed with a calm navy and light gray color scheme, exuding both quality and advanced technology.

The price for the "STI Sport" is 2,706,000 yen for FF and 2,926,000 yen for 4WD. For the hybrid models, both are FF: the "Advance" is 2,783,000 yen, and the "2.0e-L EyeSight" is 2,563,000 yen.
