Mobile Working Continues; Meetings Held Via Video or Phone

Production will be prepared at the main plant in Zuffenhausen and the Leipzig site, with all necessary measures to ensure maximum safety for employees taken in advance, and production will be gradually increased to full capacity.
The process for production, logistics, and procurement has also been agreed upon with the Works Council and the Health Management department, and the requirements of the relevant authorities will be observed.
Specifically, production employees will adhere to basic behavioral rules, maintaining a minimum distance of approximately 2 meters, and will wear masks within designated areas. Furthermore, to reduce the burden on the site's infrastructure, the significantly increased "mobile working" in indirect areas will continue, and meetings will be conducted via video or phone. A ban on business trips will also apply.
Albrecht Reimold, Member of the Executive Board for Production and Logistics, stated, "The start of production is an important message for both our employees and our customers. We have monitored and analyzed the situation very carefully from the outset and have adapted our processes flexibly. Now is the right time to resume work with special care and an optimistic outlook for the future."
Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board, commented, "A great deal of effort is required to get the economy and society moving again. Everyone needs to contribute to this, and it is important to have a positive basic attitude. Every crisis also offers opportunities, and I want to make the most of them."
Porsche first halted production at its two plants for two weeks on March 21st of this year, and was subsequently closed for a total of six weeks due to disruptions in the global supply chain that prevented orderly production.
Meanwhile, prioritizing medical institutions and healthcare workers' protective equipment, the company led "Porsche Help." As part of this initiative, they have provided equipment and donations to hospitals, as well as food to food banks, and have increased their donation budget by 5 million euros.
