Meets Euro 6d Regulations Effective This Year in Europe
The new 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder clean diesel engine, the "OM654q," powering the A200d Sedan, is a version of the "OM654" engine already used in the C-Class and E-Class, adapted for transverse installation. It features an enhanced SCR catalytic converter with an ammonia slip catalyst (ASC) in addition to the existing exhaust gas treatment system.
It boasts environmental performance that complies with the Euro 6d regulations, which take effect in Europe this year, and the Stage 2 RDE (Real Driving Emissions) regulations.
It produces a maximum output of 150 hp (110 kW) and a peak torque of 320 Nm, driving the front wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, the "8G-DCT."
Equipped with the "MBUX" interactive infotainment system and the latest safety and driver assistance systems inherited from the S-Class, the price is ¥4.2 million. Deliveries are scheduled to begin around April.
