Features GTS-tuned active suspension management

Approximately two and a half years after the launch of the current 911, the sporty GTS models have joined the 911 series.
The powertrain features a 3-liter, six-cylinder boxer engine. It produces a maximum output of 353 kW (480 PS), which is 22 kW (30 PS) more than the current 911 Carrera S and the previous generation 911 GTS, and a maximum torque of 570 Nm, an increase of 20 Nm over the previous generation.
All models come standard with an 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK), but in Japan, a 7-speed manual transmission is also available exclusively for the "911 Carrera GTS." The "911 Carrera 4 GTS Coupe" equipped with the 8-speed PDK achieves 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than its predecessor.
The Coupe and Cabriolet models come standard with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) tuned specifically for the GTS, combined with a sports chassis set 10 mm lower.
Additionally, the "911 Targa 4 GTS" adopts the 911 Targa 4 chassis with PASM, thanks to a rear axle helper spring concept derived from the Turbo models, ensuring tension is applied to the main spring without rebound changes under all driving conditions.
The lightweight design package, a first for the GTS, achieves a weight reduction of up to 25 kg by using carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) full bucket seats, lightweight glass, and removing the rear seats. Other performance enhancements include rear-axle steering and additional aerodynamic elements, both standard with this equipment package.
These elements enhance driving dynamics and generate additional downforce, while also improving braking performance in conjunction with the high-performance brake system. The car is fitted with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear black center-lock alloy wheels. The standard sports exhaust system, with its GTS-specific setup and reduced interior sound insulation, delivers an even more emotional sound.
The exterior presents a restrained yet sporty look, characterized by contrasting black body elements and tinted headlights.
Turning to the interior, it also incorporates sporty details characteristic of the GTS models, featuring the GT Sport steering wheel and tire temperature display as standard. The seats, steering wheel rim, and door handles are all trimmed in microfiber material. The GTS interior package offers optional decorative stitching in Carmine Red or Crayon.
The improved voice assistant is activated by saying "Hey Porsche" and supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The prices are as follows: "911 Carrera GTS" at 18.68 million yen, "911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet" at 20.93 million yen, "911 Carrera 4 GTS" at 19.74 million yen, "911 Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet" at 21.99 million yen, and "911 Targa 4 GTS" at 21.99 million yen.
