Featuring the Same Racing Number as His Winning Car, with Paddy Hopkirk's Signature Inside and Out
Rally driver Paddy Hopkirk achieved a remarkable victory in the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally driving a classic Mini. His win that year propelled the Mini to fame and remains one of its most legendary achievements to this day.
This limited edition celebrates the legendary driver and his iconic car. The exterior features the racing number "37," the same as used in the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally victory, applied to the body and even the lights, all rendered in Chili Red with a white roof.
Furthermore, the white bonnet stripe subtly incorporates the vehicle's registration number from the Monte Carlo Rally, "33EJB," and Paddy Hopkirk's signature is featured both inside and out, making this a truly special model.
The Cooper S serves as the base model, powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine producing a maximum output of 141 kW (192 ps) and a peak torque of 280 Nm. It drives the front wheels via a 7-speed DCT.
The 3-door model is limited to 120 units at 4.26 million yen, and the 5-door model to 80 units at 4.43 million yen. Deliveries are scheduled to begin after the end of January 2021.
