Kawasaki Begins Accepting Orders for Ninja H2 Carbon, Boasting Highest Power in Street Model History

Kawasaki Motors Japan has announced that pre-orders for the "Ninja H2 Carbon," which boasts the highest engine output in Kawasaki's street model history, will begin on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Additionally, pre-orders for the "Ninja H2R," a model exclusively for closed circuits, are also being accepted at authorized dealers until Wednesday, October 21.

Announcing the "Ninja H2R," a Fully Custom-Order, Closed-Course Exclusive Model

The "Ninja H2 Carbon," a crystallization of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group's diverse technologies in fields such as gas turbines and aerospace, boasts the highest engine output in Kawasaki's street model history. A model equipped with a supercharged engine producing a maximum output of 170kW (231ps), based on the concept of "exceeding all," has been announced.
The fully in-house developed supercharger, engineered alongside the engine, is said to deliver acceleration power from any rpm range. Furthermore, by pursuing combustion efficiency, an intercooler has been rendered unnecessary.
Additionally, the adoption of various electronic control systems and high-spec suspension, along with the standard equipment of ETC2.0 for the Japanese domestic specification, enhances the joy of riding through the latest technologies that support the rider, according to Kawasaki.
Meanwhile, the "Ninja H2R," a model exclusively for closed circuits, is equipped with a 998cc engine producing 228kW (310ps). As this is a custom-order model, orders will be accepted until Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
The "Ninja H2 Carbon" is priced at 3.63 million yen with deliveries scheduled sequentially from April 2021, while the "Ninja H2R" is priced at 6.05 million yen with deliveries scheduled from June 2021.
