A Final Special Edition Arrives for the Current XJ

Jaguar Land Rover Japan has announced a special edition of Jaguar's flagship saloon, the "XJ," the "XJR575 "V8" Final Edition." Orders are now open for a limited run of 20 units.

Priced at ¥19.68 Million, Reflecting its Birth Year

Since its debut as the "XJ Series I" in 1968, the XJ has served as Jaguar's flagship for over half a century, spanning eight generations. Now, the "XJR575 "V8" Final Edition" marks the end of the current XJ line.

The base model is the "XJR575," a performance grade featuring Jaguar's most powerful and fastest engine to date: a 5.0-liter V8 supercharged unit producing 423kW (575ps) and 700Nm of torque.

This is enhanced with special equipment, including adaptive LED headlights, silver carbon wheel center badges, a 360° surround camera, a secure tracker, and a smartphone pack.

The body is available in five colors, such as Santorini Black and Yulong White. With a limited production of 20 units, the price is ¥19.68 million, a nod to the year the XJ was born.
