Recorded 7:04.511 on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, 23.6 seconds faster than the 718 Cayman GT4

The "718 Cayman GT4 RS," which made its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17, 2021, local time. As befits the top model of the 718 range, it is a driver's car that incorporates lightweight design, agile chassis setup, and the latest aerodynamics.
In fact, the mid-mounted engine, in a lightweight body of 1,415 kg using materials such as carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), produces 368 kW (500 PS) and recorded 7:04.511 on the short version of the Nürburgring Nordschleife, 23.6 seconds faster than the "718 Cayman GT4."
In terms of equipment, process air intakes are located behind the windows, improving airflow while creating a thrilling intake sound right behind the occupants' ears. The characteristic air intakes in front of the rear wheels are also retained and are used for engine cooling.
The transmission is exclusively the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK), as with all the latest RS models. When changing gears manually, the paddle shifts allow operation without taking your hands off the steering wheel.
This sporty, short-ratio PDK supports acceleration, achieving 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 315 km/h. This is a 0.5-second improvement over the PDK-equipped GT4, which takes 3.9 seconds, and the top speed is also 13 km/h higher.
Furthermore, the new fixed rear wing with swan neck attachments and aluminum wing supports stand out as distinctive exterior elements.
A combination of a ride height 30 mm lower than the 718 Cayman, prominent vents on the front wheel arches, aerodynamically optimized underbody panels connecting to the rear diffuser, and multi-adjustable front diffusers allows for approximately 25 percent more downforce than the GT4 when using the circuit-specific performance mode.
Optional features include carbon weave finishes for the front luggage compartment lid and process air intakes, further enhancing the GT4 RS's dynamic design, and a "Weissach package" for track use with a titanium roll cage and tailpipes. Additionally, 20-inch forged magnesium wheels are available as an alternative to the 20-inch forged aluminum wheels.
Steering is available in left- or right-hand drive, and the price is 18.43 million yen.
