Unveiled in July 2014, the Aston MartinLagonda Tarafis a limited-production special model, drawing inspiration from the 1976 four-door saloon "Lagonda" with its avant-garde design.
Initially intended only for exclusive Middle Eastern clientele, the sales region for this special model has now been extended to continental Europe, the UK, and South Africa. However, the production remains capped at 200 units, as originally planned.
This Lagonda, like the "Vulcan" appearing at this year's Geneva Motor Show, and past special models such as the "One-77," "V12 Zagato", and "CC100 Roadster", is crafted through Aston Martin's bespoke program, resulting in an exquisitely luxurious four-door saloon.
The price of the Lagonda Taraf is undisclosed. This is explained by the fact that each vehicle is customized to the client's order, leading to significant price variations.
With this market expansion, a right-hand drive specification has been added, despite the model's exclusivity and limited production. CEO Andy Palmer explains this as a testament to Aston Martin's British heritage.
