Japan's First Urban Concept Store, Porsche Studio Nihonbashi, Opens

Porsche Japan opened its first urban concept store in Japan, "Porsche Studio Nihonbashi," on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Tokyo Nihonbashi Tower Annex.

An Urban Retail Space Emphasizing Hospitality and Communication

Porsche Studio, Porsche's urban concept store format rolled out globally, has made its debut in Japan.

Porsche Studio is described as an urban retail space that emphasizes hospitality and communication, going beyond simply introducing the brand and its products. Following its debut on the island of Sylt, Germany, in 2017, 17 such locations have been established worldwide. "Porsche Studio Nihonbashi" is the first in Japan and the 18th permanent store globally.

The interior of "Porsche Studio Nihonbashi," directly connected to Nihonbashi Station, will feature rotating displays of electric vehicles and the latest models. While incorporating large digital signage, the space offers a tranquil environment, enhanced by traditional Japanese kumiko woodwork, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Porsche.

In addition to test drives of the latest models and simulations using the configurator, the "Porsche Lifestyle" collection of fashion, accessories, and interior items will be available, proposing a lifestyle to be enjoyed with Porsche.

Michael Kirsch, President of Porsche Japan, commented, "We are extremely proud to open Japan's first Porsche Studio in Nihonbashi, a center of history, culture, and commerce."

Porsche Japan is considering further expansion of Porsche Studio locations within Japan, including plans to open a second store, "Porsche Studio Ginza," in the Ginza area in the summer of 2022.
