Powered by a 5.2-liter Naturally Aspirated Engine Exceeding 10,000 RPM

The Solus GT is a reality born from McLaren's accumulated technology, spanning from participation in top-tier motorsport to the development of supercars and hypercars. Its exterior is characterized by a central cockpit design housing a single seat and a sliding canopy reminiscent of a jet fighter.
The wheels are covered by aerodynamically shaped pods, and the air drawn in by the massive front splitter is expelled through full-width diffusers via ground effect tunnels. The side pods house the radiators, inspired by racing cars. The vehicle weighs under 1,000kg, yet generates over 1,200kg of downforce.
The interior features a tight single-seater cockpit, inspired by F1 machines, with a steering wheel integrating displays and essential controls. The driving seat is fixed and custom-molded to the owner's physique through a 'seat fitting' process. Additionally, a bespoke FIA-approved racing suit, helmet, and HANS device are provided, complete with earpieces for radio communication. A driver coaching program is also included, offering support to help owners fully utilize their track-only hypercar.
The 5.2-liter naturally aspirated engine produces a maximum output of 840ps and 650Nm of torque. Utilizing meticulously machined, limited-production components, it achieves a maximum rotational speed exceeding 10,000 rpm. A race-derived 7-speed sequential gearbox is employed, targeting a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed exceeding 200 mph (320 km/h).
Production is limited to 25 units, and all have reportedly been sold. The car is currently undergoing track testing, with deliveries scheduled to commence in 2023.
