Porsche Launches Infotainment System for Classic Models
Porsche Japan has begun selling its Communication Management System for classic models. This system allows users to play music and make phone calls via a touchscreen display, even in classic models.

Fits All Porsche Classic Supported Vehicles Except 356 and Carrera GT
Over 70% of all Porsches ever produced are still driven today, a testament to the enduring popularity of Porsche's classic models. Porsche has continued its support through initiatives such as offering new parts for classic models and establishing Porsche Classic Partners, where advisors with specialized training provide services.
PCCM with a 3.5-inch display
Now, to enhance the driving experience in classic models, Porsche is releasing two new systems: the "Porsche Classic Communication Management System (PCCM)" and the "Porsche Classic Communication Management System Plus (PCCM Plus)."
Both digital devices feature high-resolution touchscreens and Apple CarPlay. The PCCM Plus further includes Google Android Auto. The radio bands have also been adjusted to suit the Japanese range.
The design is crafted to blend seamlessly with the interiors of classic Porsches. The PCCM, with its 3.5-inch display, is compatible with all 911 models from the F series to the 993 series, as well as transaxle vehicles.
PCCM Plus featuring a 7-inch display
The PCCM Plus, equipped with a 7-inch display, is compatible with the 911 Type 996 and the Boxster Type 986. Therefore, these products can be installed in all standard production vehicles supported by Porsche Classic, excluding the Porsche 356 and Carrera GT.
In addition to the touchscreen display, the new systems allow device control via rotary push-button controls, making destination selection effortless. Both devices include an external media box with interfaces for iPhone, USB, and AUX. Phone functions, including access to contacts, are also available via Bluetooth.
The price for the PCCM is 213,400 yen, and the PCCM Plus is 239,800 yen.
