Developed and Built by Toyota Auto Body on a Hiace Base

Toyota has previously provided 11 transfer vehicles for patients with mild symptoms, based on the Sienta and JPN TAXI, to medical institutions and local governments, listening to the needs of those on the front lines. This is the first time they have provided a transfer vehicle for severe patients.
Based on various requests from medical institutions, this vehicle was developed and built by Toyota Auto Body on a Hiace base. A partition has been installed between the front space of the vehicle, which includes the driver's and front passenger's seats, and the rear space behind the back seats. By constantly exhausting the air in the rear to the outside with an exhaust fan, it controls airflow so that the air in the rear does not circulate to the front, making it a "droplet circulation suppression vehicle."
The Toyota Group states that it will continue to promptly consider and address requests for patient transfer vehicles from medical institutions and local governments.
