Alpine Japan has revamped its lineup for the two-seater sports car "A110" series. The "A110 R70" and "A110 GTS", introduced to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Alpine brand, along with the limited-edition "A110 Anniversary" (25 units), form the new three-model lineup, for which orders have now opened.

The model inheriting the original Alpine spirit concludes its run as the "A110 Anniversary"

It has been revealed that the "A110", which strongly evokes the original spirit, will be the final model. The limited-edition "A110 Anniversary", announced today, will be the last model in the "A110" series.
Furthermore, it was announced that the "A110 R70", limited to 770 units worldwide, will be the final model in the "R" version.
Let's take a closer look at each of the revamped models.
The "A110 R70", produced in a limited run of 770 units worldwide to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Alpine brand, features carbon fiber for its front bonnet, roof, rear hood, rear spoiler, and 18-inch wheels, aiming to enhance dynamic performance through weight reduction. As a result, the vehicle weighs in at 1,090 kg.
To reduce air resistance while generating stronger downforce, it incorporates features such as a front bonnet with air intakes, a large diffuser, side skirts, and a swan-neck rear spoiler. The 70th-anniversary logo is also present on the front fenders and headrests.
The engine is a 1.8-liter inline-4 turbocharged unit mounted midship, producing a maximum output of 300 ps and peak torque of 340 Nm, driving the rear wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Additionally, the "A110 R70" comes standard with performance-enhancing parts such as Brembo brake calipers, adjustable racing dampers, and semi-slick tires.
Replacing the "A110 GT" and "A110 S", the newly added "A110 GTS" is based on the "A110 S" chassis sport setup, yet retains the everyday comfort of the "A110 GT", offering an exhilarating driving experience. The engine specifications are the same as the "A110 R70".
The body color can be chosen from 27 options, including five new colors. It features a wide array of interior and exterior options, such as the R aero kit and monocoque bucket seats available in five color variations, allowing for personalization to suit individual preferences.
Finally, the "A110 Anniversary", the only model in the lineup utilizing the Alpine chassis, is a limited edition of 25 units.
It is powered by a 1.8-liter turbo engine, distinct from the other two models, producing a maximum output of 252 ps and peak torque of 320 Nm. This model inherits the lightweight, compact, and agile characteristics of the original Alpine "A110".
The prices are ¥17.9 million for the "A110 R70", ¥12 million for the "A110 GTS", and ¥9.6 million for the "A110 Anniversary".
