BMW Introduces New Brand Logo

BMW is changing its brand logo for the first time in over 20 years. The simplified, two-dimensional logo mark will also feature a new transparency style.

Presenting BMW's Visual Style for the Digital Generation

The new BMW logo, characterized by a simplified two-dimensional design with a transparent version, embodies openness and transparency. It aims to create an inviting image that draws users further into the world of BMW.
This change reflects BMW's intention to shift from a car-centric world to one that emphasizes technology and connectivity, presenting BMW's visual style in a manner more suited to the digital generation.
However, the new brand logo will not be used on vehicles or in dealerships' interiors and exteriors. It is intended to be used alongside the existing logo primarily in communication scenarios as part of a media brand strategy.
The new logo is already in use on the BMW website and is slated for use on future mobility concepts and other symbolic representations.
