Lexus has announced that production of the grand touring sedan "GS" will end in August. To mark this occasion, a special edition model, "Eternal Touring," will be released on June 1st.

The GS, a grand touring sedan that balances driving enjoyment with a refined ride, first debuted globally in 1993. In Japan, sales began with the third generation coinciding with Lexus's domestic launch in 2005. The fourth generation, fully redesigned in 2012, achieved further performance enhancements through rigorous testing.

This special edition "Eternal Touring" is based on the GS450h, 350, 300h, and 300 F SPORT models, incorporating elements inherited from "F" models, the symbol of Lexus's performance. The exterior boasts a sharp styling with a black spindle grille, aluminum wheels, door mirrors, rear spoiler, and orange brake calipers on the GS450h and GS350 2WD.

Meanwhile, the interior is distinguished by its premium feel and sportiness, featuring Alcantara upholstery, carbon ornamentation panels, red stitching on the door trim and meter hood, and door trim and steering wheel accents in Flare Red, all popular elements from the GS F.

Lexus will continue to strive for relentless evolution to provide the enjoyment and pleasure that automobiles bring."

The prices for the "Eternal Touring" special edition models are as follows: GS450h at 9 million yen, 350 at 8 million yen, 300h at 7.5 million yen, and 300 F SPORT at 7.1 million yen.
