Exterior and interior specifications revised, with safety features and wireless charging now standard

The S90 was developed using the "Scalable Product Architecture (SPA)" platform, which dramatically enhances safety and anticipates electrification and advanced driver-assistance technologies. Initially sold as a limited edition of 500 units, sales in Japan ended upon sell-out. However, with updated specifications, sales have now resumed on an order basis.
The newly available model is the "S90 B6 AWD Inscription," a single grade equipped with a 48V hybrid system and revised specifications.
The S90 B6 AWD Inscription's powertrain features a 2-liter, 4-cylinder inline-turbo engine with an electric supercharger and a 48V hybrid system. The third-generation Drive-E gasoline engine utilizes an electric supercharger powered by a 48V system for high efficiency and responsiveness, along with an ISGM (Integrated Starter Generator Module) hybrid system. It produces a maximum output of 220 kW (300 ps) and a maximum torque of 420 Nm, delivered through an 8-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels.
With the specification changes, the exterior adopts new designs for the front, rear, and alloy wheels. The rear lamp design has also been updated, with the rear turn signals now featuring a sequential function.
Inside, a new infotainment system and telematics services have been introduced. Additionally, the "CleanZone - Advanced Air Quality System" with a PM2.5 sensor and automatic cabin ventilation, as well as "Wireless Smartphone Charger," are now standard equipment.
Safety features now include "City Safety," which incorporates "Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection" and "Intersection Support" for detecting oncoming traffic during turns, along with "All-Speed Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)" and "Pilot Assist (Full Speed Range Lane Keeping Support)," all as standard.
The price is 8.94 million yen.
