Evolved Performance from the 720S: Top Speed of 332 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 2.8 Seconds

The 750S has been announced as the successor to the 720S. McLaren touts it as their "lightest and most powerful series" model.
McLaren states that approximately 30% of the components have been renewed or modified, based on a thorough analysis of the 720S during the design and development process.
In terms of weight, the dry weight, achieved by selecting carbon fiber and lightweight options wherever possible, is 1,277 kg for the coupe and 1,326 kg for the spider. The DIN weight, including fluids and 90% fuel load, is 1,389 kg, a reduction of 30 kg compared to the previous model.
This weight reduction is attributed to features such as the standard carbon fiber shell racing seats and ultra-lightweight forged wheels.
At its heart lies a mid-mounted 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, the 'M840T'. With an increased output of 750 ps and 800 Nm of torque, it drives the rear wheels through a revised 7-speed transmission.
It achieves a top speed of 332 km/h, with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 2.8 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 7.2 seconds (7.3 seconds for the spider).
The suspension springs are softer at the front and stiffer at the rear compared to the 720S, and the passive and active elements forming the dedicated valve stack have also been modified. This enhances ride comfort, handling precision, and control.
Furthermore, a new method, adopted for the first time in the 750S, involves adjusting the strut accumulators to tune the suspension. This improves ride comfort, body roll control, steering feedback, and cornering performance.
The active rear wing, with a 20% larger surface area, deploys fully in under 0.5 seconds. It increases rear downforce for enhanced high-speed stability and also reduces braking distances.
The carbon-ceramic discs are paired with a new brake booster, improving pedal feel and operability.
For those seeking even higher performance on the track, a track-focused brake upgrade is available, featuring 390 mm carbon-ceramic discs and monobloc calipers.
The interior is designed with the driver at its center. Notably, the 'McLaren Control Launch (MCL)', debuting for the first time in the 750S, allows for personalized driving experiences at the touch of a button. Drivers can create their preferred combinations of aerodynamic, handling, powertrain, and transmission settings, and save them as custom profiles.
The updated central information screen now includes Apple CarPlay. Additionally, the rearview camera and surround-view cameras have been upgraded.
The interior trim can be selected from either full Nappa leather or a combination of Alcantara and Nappa leather. For audio, Bowers & Wilkins has developed a new system specifically for the 750S.
Furthermore, McLaren Special Operations (MSO), the bespoke division, can accommodate additional options and custom paintwork.
Orders for the 750S are currently being accepted.
