Specifications Match the Coupe

Aston Martin's open-top "Volante" range welcomes the "Vanquish Volante," based on the top-performance "Vanquish" model.



Like the coupe, the engine is a 6.0-liter V12 naturally aspirated unit, codenamed AM11, producing a maximum output of 573 ps and peak torque of 620 Nm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and has an estimated top speed of approximately 295 km/h. In other words, there is no discernible performance drop from the coupe on paper.



This is made possible by Aston Martin's strongest body in its 100-year history, featuring the fourth-generation VH architecture, primarily aluminum, and all-carbon fiber body panels.



The roof is a three-layer, lightweight fabric construction, taking just 14 seconds to open. A distinctive feature is that the windshield frame does not extend to the top edge, allowing the glass to run uninterrupted.



Furthermore, the carbon fiber body panels not only achieve both weight reduction and high rigidity simultaneously but also enhance design freedom and reduce the number of joints. This allows for a sleek design while also expanding luggage space to 279 liters – a remarkable 50% increase compared to the previous "DBS Volante."



Pricing is set at £199,995 in the UK (approx. ¥29.85 million), €264,995 in Germany (approx. ¥33.81 million), $297,995 in the US (approx. ¥28.40 million), and $323,974 in Dubai (approx. ¥30.87 million). Deliveries are scheduled to begin in late 2013, starting in Europe, including the UK.
