Making Everyday Life Simpler and a Little More Fun

The "500L Living" can be considered a four-door version of the500whose production model was announced last July. It is an MPV based on the500Lwith an added third row of seats for a "5+2" configuration. Its body dimensions are approximately 20 cm longer than the 500L, measuring 435 cm in length, 178 cm in width, and 167 cm in height. The trunk capacity is also expanded to a maximum of 638 liters, compared to the 500L's 400 liters (however, the 500L's capacity can be expanded to 1,310 liters by folding down the second-row seats).

The initial powertrain options include a 1.4-liter Fire engine producing a maximum output of 95 ps and a 0.9-liter TwinAir Turbo engine generating 105 ps, both gasoline engines. Later, two diesel engines are planned for release: a 1.6-liter MultiJet II with a maximum output of 105 ps and a 1.3-liter MultiJet II with a maximum output of 85 ps.

True to the 500 family, it offers a rich variety of interior and exterior options. These include configurations for 7 or 5 passengers, two trim levels ("Pop Star" and "Lounge"), 19 body colors (including 11 two-tone options), 6 interior colors, and 15 types of alloy wheels, resulting in at least 282 possible combinations. Naturally, it is equipped with the latest features, such as new leather interiors, an integrated navigation system, and a reverse-linked rearview monitor.

The "Living" in the car's name directly refers to a "living room-like" feel.

Fiat describes the 500L Living as an MPW (Magic Purpose Wagon), a new concept car that combines the agile handling of a compact car, the cargo capacity of a C-segment wagon, and the convenience of an MPV. With its high utility and the enjoyable driving experience provided by its already well-regarded powertrains, it is positioned as a vehicle that makes everyday life simpler yet a bit more interesting.

Although only photographs have been released so far, the world premiere is scheduled for July, the birth month of the 500 family, which is celebrating its sixth anniversary this year. Production will take place at Fiat's Serbian plant, the same facility as the 500L. Orders will begin in Italy in July, followed by a rollout across Europe.
