AM-RB 003 Model Name Decided as 'Valhalla'


On Tuesday, June 18th, New York time, Aston Martin announced that the official name for its mid-engined hybrid hypercar, first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March, has been decided as 'Valhalla'.

The name 'Valhalla' is newly added to the 'V' lineage, which has continued for over 70 years since the birth of the 'Vantage' in 1951.

At the Geneva Motor Show in March this year,First Unveiled as 'Project 003'Valhalla, known by the codename 'AM-RB 003', was unveiled. In Norse mythology, it means 'paradise for warriors', and it is positioned as the second hypercar following the 'Valkyrie', which was developed with the aim of creating a high-performance road car.






Valhalla incorporates the lightweight construction and cutting-edge aerodynamic technology used in the Valkyrie, with a carbon fiber body. The powertrain is a mid-engined model combining an Aston Martin V6 gasoline turbocharged engine with a battery-powered hybrid system.

Development is proceeding in collaboration with Red Bull Advanced Technologies and Adrian Newey, and it is planned to be produced in a limited run of 500 units.
