Adopts Cup chassis

Renault's compact car, the "Twingo," has previously seenGordini Renault Sporta sporty version that gained popularity in Japan. This time, a more authentic sports model, the "Renault Sport Cup," will be released, albeit in limited numbers.

The Gordini R.S. featured the "Chassis Sport," which balanced sporty performance with ride comfort. However, the Renault Sport Cup, arriving in Japan this time, adopts the "Chassis Cup" as indicated by its name. This "Chassis Cup" is said to be a version of the chassis that prioritizes cornering performance, even at the expense of some ride comfort.


The exterior color isMegane R.S.only available in "Jaune Sirius Metallic," also featured on the "Megane R.S." The door mirrors, rear spoiler, and 17-inch aluminum wheels are unified in brilliant black. The interior is a two-tone black and white with yellow stitching as an accent.

It is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, with a maximum output of 98 kW (134 PS) at 6,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 160 Nm at 4,400 rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and is only available in left-hand drive.

The price is 2.35 million yen, with a limited production run of 30 units.
