Zagato Unveils Lettering for 100th Anniversary Limited Edition Model
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the renowned Italian coachbuilder Zagato, Aston Martin has unveiled the lettering for the limited edition "DBS GT Zagato." Only 19 units will be produced worldwide, sold as the "DBZ Centenary Collection," which includes the "DB4 GT Zagato Continuation."

The second model in the "DBZ Centenary Collection," the "DBS GT Zagato," is Aston Martin's tribute to the 100th anniversary of the historic coachbuilder Zagato, with whom they have partnered for nearly 60 years.
This unique project, honoring the many iconic cars born from their enduring partnership, aims to create future classics.
Based on the "DBS Superleggera," Aston Martin's most powerful production car to date, the design draws inspiration from the sensual form of the iconic 1960s "DB4 GT Zagato," reinterpreting it for the modern era.
The signature double-bubble roof of the "DB4 GT Zagato" is also carried over. A new interpretation of the design element extends across the roof, flowing from the top of the windshield to the rear end, creating a clean, sculptural form. However, the traditional rear window is omitted, replaced by a wide, wraparound windshield composed entirely of curves.
The rear wheel area features a powerful design, conveying a sense of strength and echoing the connection with the simultaneously released "DB4 GT Zagato."
Produced in a limited run of 19 units at Aston Martin's Gaydon headquarters, the "DBZ Centenary Collection," comprising the "DBS GT Zagato" and the "DB4 GT Zagato Continuation," is priced at £6 million (approximately ¥866.4 million) before tax. Delivery of the "DB4 GT Zagato Continuation" is scheduled for late 2019, with the "DBS GT Zagato," for which lettering has now been announced, expected in late 2020.
