The Vanquish Name Returns
The "Vanquish" name, used for Aston Martin's flagship production models, has been revived for a mid-engine concept car. This hints at the design of Aston Martin's first mass-produced mid-engine supercar.
The engine employs a newly developed V6 turbocharger by Aston Martin. This unit will debut as a hybrid turbo engine in "Project 003," also unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
Furthermore, the body features a chassis with a tailored bonded aluminum structure, and is characterized by a more flowing style than the "Valkyrie" or "Project 003." The design also incorporates accent details such as clamshell front fenders with openings that allow a view through to the tires.
The 89th Geneva Motor Show is open to the public from Thursday, March 7th, to Sunday, March 17th.
