Aerospace Technology First Adopted in Automobiles
Aston Martin has announced the third model, "Concept 003," which incorporates the mid-engine concept and technology used in theValkyrie" and theValkyrie AMR Pro".
While sharing basic chassis and aerodynamics with the Valkyrie, it features a distinctive front apron and a large rear diffuser, with air flowing beneath the floor generating powerful downforce.
This is made possible by morphing technology, an aerospace technology being used for the first time in the automotive industry. This technology, which allows wings to smoothly deform during flight, changes the downforce while driving without altering the physical angle of the car's elements, improving performance and efficiency while also contributing to a seamless, unique design with minimal wind noise.
Furthermore, design concepts that enhance convenience and comfort include LMP-style doors that open forward, with the roof section moving along with the doors for easier entry and exit.

Deliveries Scheduled for Late 2021
Additionally, the center console has been widened to create more space between the driver and passenger seats. The luggage space is now accessible from the floor behind the seats, and storage compartments for items like wallets and mobile phones have been added.
The cockpit eliminates visual complexity, adopting a new design called "Apex Ergonomics" to allow drivers to focus on driving. By concentrating key switches and displays in wide horizontal sections, driver operability while driving has been improved.
The powertrain features a newly developed in-house turbocharged V6 hybrid engine, marking Aston Martin's return as a manufacturer of in-house produced engines.
Furthermore, this power unit is equipped with the Nexel Sealing Oil System, first introduced in the track-only "Vulcan" model. The oil cartridge can be replaced within 90 seconds, and the used oil is then refined and reused, a sustainable system that Aston Martin claims is the world's first to be installed in a road-legal vehicle.
Project 003 is scheduled for delivery in late 2021. We eagerly await further details on specifications and pricing.
