Aston Martin DB9 Appears at Daikanyama T-SITE

The Aston Martin "DB9" will be exhibited outdoors from Wednesday, April 10th to Sunday, April 14th, next to Tsutaya Books within Daikanyama T-SITE in Tokyo. This is an opportunity to encounter the new "DB9," the core of Aston Martin as it celebrates its 100th anniversary.

As already featured on OPENERS,Test Drive Reviewwe have published a review of the new "DB9," the heart of Aston Martin. This latest model in the DB family, brimming with British craftsmanship, will be on display at Daikanyama T-SITE from April 10th to 14th, between 10:00 and 18:00.

The new "DB9" is positioned as a model that integrates the "DB9" released in 2003 and the "Virage" released in 2011. It "debuted"at the 2012 Paris Motor Show debut.

As Michael Van der Sande, Aston Martin's Chief Commercial Officer, stated in"The Present and Future of Aston Martin",it is not only the core of Aston Martin, but also represents theAston Martin's 100th Anniversarycelebration.

This sports car is equipped with a front-mounted V12 engine producing a maximum output of 517ps. By adopting a transaxle layout, which places the transmission in front of the rear differential, it achieves an ideal 50:50 front-rear weight distribution. It also prioritizes ease of driving, offering comfort, a spacious interior, and ample luggage space, embodying the qualities of a luxury GT car.

When viewing the car, pay attention not only to its beautiful exterior body and paintwork, but also to the interior, which boasts high quality and a design and color scheme imbued with a unique British aesthetic.
