Video of Takuma Sato's Test Drive Also Available

The second-generation NSX was unveiled in August 2016, marking a full model change after 26 years. Now, approximately two years after its launch in Japan, a teaser for the 2019 model has been revealed.

There are no changes to the powertrain, which features a 3.5-liter engine and a three-motor hybrid system, the "Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling - All Wheel Drive)." Honda describes it as achieving "a high level of response and handling performance that would be difficult to attain with an engine alone."

The newly announced 2019 model inherits and refines the original model's concept of "a super sports car centered on the driver." The design has also been further polished to enhance its sports car aesthetic.

Concurrently, a video featuring racing driver Takuma Sato testing the refined NSX model has also been released on the website.
