630hp V12, Top Speed 334km/h, 0-100km/h in 3.7 Seconds

The development goal for the DB11 AMR was to achieve a more engaging driving experience while retaining the maturity and GT performance that allows for comfortable long-distance journeys, which were hallmarks of the original DB11 V12.

The 5.2-liter V12 twin-turbo engine at its heart produces a maximum output of 630hp, a 30hp increase over the DB11 V12. While the maximum torque remains unchanged at 700Nm, the 0-100km/h acceleration improves by 0.2 seconds to 3.7 seconds, and the top speed reaches 334km/h. This makes it the fastest production Aston Martin currently available and one of the fastest GT cars in the world.

The chassis, designed to transmit road feel directly without compromising the supple ride characteristic of a GT, was developed by the Aston Martin Dynamics team, led by chief engineer Matt Becker, who possesses exceptional skill. Furthermore, the transmission's shift strategy has been reconfigured, and the exhaust note has been enhanced. Selecting Sport mode further sharpens its character.

The exterior features a monochrome theme with dark headlight surrounds, smoked taillights, and dark front grilles and tailpipes. The gloss black roof, sills, and splitter create a contrast with the exposed carbon fiber used for the bonnet blades.

The interior comes standard with monochrome leather and Alcantara upholstery featuring lime-colored stitching, and a leather-wrapped sports steering wheel.

In addition to a wide range of standard colors and trim options, three designer specifications are available. A "AMR Signature Edition" painted in Stirling Green and Lime is also offered.

This edition features numerous carbon fiber parts on the exterior, and the interior utilizes Dark Knight leather with lime stitching, satin dark chrome switchgear, and satin carbon fiber trim. Production will be limited to 100 units worldwide.

Aston Martin President and CEO Andy Palmer commented, "Since its debut in 2016, the DB11 lineup has evolved rapidly, with the V12 model achieving 4,200 sales."

Compared to the V8 Coupe and Volante, the V12 model maintains its GT car qualities alongside enhanced sportiness.

The DB11 AMR is not only faster but also offers more precise handling than ever before. While this car becomes the new flagship of the DB11 lineup, the existing V12 DB11 will become a future collector's item."

The price for the DB11 AMR is set at £174,995 in the UK, $241,000 in the US, and €218,595 in Germany. The AMR Signature Edition is priced at £201,995. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2018. Additionally, AMR models were previewed with the previous generation Vantage AMR and AMR Pro at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, and an announcement for the Rapide AMR model is imminent.
