A 600ps Naturally Aspirated V12 Engine Paired with a 7-Speed Manual
The original "Vantage V600," equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 twin-supercharged engine producing 600ps, was ranked as one of the most powerful sports cars (Car of Extremes) upon its debut in 1998. It is a legendary model.
Twenty years later, the "V12 Vantage V600" is based on the previous generation "VH platform" Vantage and was created by "Q by Aston Martin," the company's personalization service division. Dubbed the "Triple V" by its name, only 14 units of the new model are handcrafted, with seven coupes and seven roadsters.
The powertrain features an upgraded version of the naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 engine, delivering a maximum output of 600ps. The transmission is a 7-speed manual. The suspension is a double-wishbone independent setup front and rear, combined with a three-stage adaptive damping system for a refined ride.
The exterior is made of full carbon fiber and features styling changes similar to the 90s model, including side strakes, a power bulge hood, dark-colored front grille, carbon fiber diffuser, and a quad exhaust system. Additionally, machine-finished center-lock forged aluminum wheels are fitted, emphasizing its aggressive stance.
Inside, carbon fiber and dark anodized aluminum are used extensively. Bespoke features include lightweight perforated seats, a carbon fiber center console, a machined shift lever, and dial switches for driver information.
Marek Reichman, Aston Martin's Vice President and Chief Creative Officer, commented, "This is precisely why we launched the Q by Aston Martin-Commission service. It allows us to create truly bespoke sports cars. The V600 is a classic model that has earned its place in Aston Martin's history, and we are proud to see it revived as the V12 Vantage V600."
