On September 1st this year, Fiat's four-door compact hatchback "Punto," which changed its name from "Punto Evo" to "Punto," will see the debut of special edition and limited edition models from Abarth. Sales will commence nationwide on October 24th.

SuperSport Inspired by Historic Rally Cars

“Fiat PuntoLike the "Fiat Punto," the "Abarth Punto," which has been renamed from "Abarth Punto Evo," also offers the performance-enhancing "Abarth Punto esseesse KONI kit" and "Abarth Punto KONI kit."

The special edition "Abarth Punto SuperSport" unveiled this time is finished in the iconic Abarth body color, a gray called "Grigio Campovolo," and features matte black paint and stripes on the bonnet and roof panel, inspired by the "Abarth 124 Rally." Its price is 3.09 million yen, compared to the "Abarth Punto" at 2.89 million yen.

The Limited Black Punto

Meanwhile, the "Punto Scorpione," limited to 199 units worldwide and 40 in Japan, is based on the "esseesse KONI kit" equipped model. It features a black body color called "Neo Scorpione," the same paint as the SuperSport, and black 18-inch alloy wheels.

The interior is equipped with Sabelt sports seats in the front, offering enhanced support and a decidedly racy ambiance.

This model is priced at 3.74 million yen.

Both cars will be released on October 24th. This date is significant as it precedes November 15th, the birthday of Abarth's founder, Carlo Abarth, which falls under the Scorpio zodiac sign. The Scorpio period begins for those born on October 24th. For this reason, Abarth annually engages in special activities during this Scorpio season.
