A Limited Edition Born from a Century-Old Collaboration

Fiat Chrysler Japan has unveiled the "500 Cremino," a special limited edition model. Its name is inspired by the Italian chocolate confection, "Cremino."

Did you know that this Cremino is a Fiat chocolate?

In 1911, Fiat introduced its new model, the "Fiat Type 4." For this occasion, they commissioned MAJANI, a renowned long-established chocolate maker founded in 1796 in Bologna, to create a chocolate for the "Type 4."

In commemoration of the "4" in "Type 4," MAJANI created a chocolate confection with four layers of nuts and coffee cream paste, which they named "Fiat Cremino Chocolate." This Fiat chocolate, continuously produced for the past 100 years, is the inspiration for the "Cremino" featured on the 500 today.

The base vehicle is the "500 TwinAir Pop," equipped with an 875cc two-cylinder engine, and the price remains the same as the base model at 2.2 million yen.

Adopting the New Smart Alternator

Concurrently, models equipped with the two-cylinder "TwinAir" engine have been updated with a new smart alternator, a charging control device that optimizes charging timing. Fuel efficiency has improved by 0.5 km/L in the 10-15 mode. The "500 TwinAir POP" now achieves 22.0 km/L, up from 21.5 km/L, and the "500 TwinAir LOUNGE" now achieves 21.5 km/L, up from 21.0 km/L.
