Abarth's Special 500 Commemorating its Founder

Fiat Chrysler Japan will launch the "Abarth 500" and "Abarth 500C" under the Abarth brand, with a special edition model called "Grigio Record," available in limited numbers.

A Tribute to Scorpio

Abarth's famous scorpion emblem was adopted by founder Carlo Abarth, inspired by his own zodiac sign. The company holds special events annually during the Scorpio season.

This limited edition model is part of that initiative, with its release date set for October 24th, the start of the Scorpio period. The exterior features the new gunmetal color "Grigio Record," which lends its name to the model, complemented by a brown leather interior. The wheels are also a special dark grey specification.

Furthermore, a significant feature is that the open-top model, the "Abarth 500C Grigio Record," will be equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, a first for the Abarth 500C in Japan.

The price for the "Abarth 500 Grigio Record" is ¥2.99 million, the same as the base model, while the "Abarth 500C Grigio Record" is priced at ¥3.29 million, ¥100,000 less than its base model. Production will be limited to 40 units and 30 units, respectively.
