BMW 1 Series Interior Design Renewed. Limited Model Also Available
BMW has updated the interior design of its 1 Series, the only rear-wheel-drive model in the premium compact segment, and enhanced its standard equipment. Sales began on August 23rd. To commemorate this launch, two limited-edition models were also announced.

A More Modern Interior Design and Touchscreen Display Adopted
The interior of the new BMW 1 Seriesfeatures a redesigned center console and instrument panel with high-gloss black accents, creating a more spacious feel. The addition of refined chrome trim and minimized panel seams results in a modern, sophisticated interior design that reflects user needs.
In terms of equipment, a touchscreen control display has been adopted. User convenience is enhanced with an HDD navigation system that has been improved for clearer menus and easier operation.
BMW 1 Series
Prices range from 3.17 million yen for the "118i," equipped with a 1.5-liter inline 3-cylinder gasoline engine, to 6.18 million yen for the "140i," powered by a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder gasoline engine.
Additionally, to celebrate the launch of the new model, two limited-edition models, the "BMW 118i M Sport Edition Shadow" and "BMW 118d M Sport Edition Shadow," were announced simultaneously and will be available in a limited run of 1,000 units starting the same day.
BMW 1 Series Edition Shadow
Both models feature sporty exterior and interior elements and enhanced equipment. The base vehicles are the "118i M Sport," equipped with a 1.5-liter inline 3-cylinder gasoline engine (136 ps, 220 Nm), and the "118d M Sport," powered by a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder diesel engine (150 ps, 320 Nm).
The exterior is made sporty with exclusive dark-colored LED headlights and rear combination lights, a high-gloss black kidney grille, and "18-inch M Light Alloy Wheels Double Spoke Jet Black 719M." The interior is finished with exclusive cognac-colored Dakota leather seats, adding a premium feel.
Equipment includes the Parking Support Package, Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go function, Comfort Package, and HiFi Sound Speaker System, offering the safety and comfort expected of a limited edition model.
The price for the "118i M Sport Edition Shadow" is 3.98 million yen, and for the "118d M Sport Edition Shadow," it is 4.20 million yen.
