Rolls-Royce will unveil the eighth generation of its new Phantom at 'The Great Eight Phantoms' exhibition, held in London's Mayfair from Thursday, July 27th, where a collection of famous Phantoms from throughout history will be gathered.

A Gathering of Famous Phantoms Through the Ages


Born in 1925, the Rolls-Royce Phantom has borne witness to countless historical moments over its 92-year production run, from treaty signings and state occasions to its very inception. For decades, it has been cherished by royalty, politicians, film stars, and celebrities worldwide.


The seventh generation of the Phantom concluded its 13-year production run, and the arrival of the eighth generation has now been heralded. It is scheduled to be unveiled at the end of July this year, alongside its predecessors.

Fred Astaire Phantom I



As a countdown to its unveiling, 'The Great Eight Phantoms' exhibition will celebrate the history of the Phantom. The vehicles featured in this event will be announced sequentially over eight weeks, with the final reveal being the debut of the new generation Phantom.

The first car revealed is the "Fred Astaire Phantom I," a first-generation Phantom beloved by Fred Astaire, the American dancer, actor, and singer who defined the golden age of Hollywood musicals. The Petersen Museum, its current owner, has announced its exhibition at the event, along with the release of a video.
