Creating a Striking Presence with 20-Inch Alloy Wheels

Born in September 2014 from BMW's sub-brand "BMW i",i8the i8 features a powertrain combining a 1.5-liter inline three-cylinder turbo engine with an electric motor, delivering a total system output of 266 kW (362 ps) and a maximum torque of 570 Nm.

Alongside the all-electric BMW i3, it was the first mass-produced vehicle to utilize carbon-fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) for its basic body structure, and its distinctive styling, including dihedral (butterfly) doors, garnered significant attention.

The limited edition model announced this time is painted in the exclusive "Protonic Dark Silver" body color. Combined with gloss black front brake calipers and 20-inch alloy wheels, it achieves a truly commanding presence.

Additionally, standard features include "BMW Laserlight," which reportedly offers twice the illumination range of LED headlights. The interior boasts a luxurious ambiance with brown-toned exclusive natural leather and cloth accent seats. Furthermore, it is adorned with a special interior badge displaying the edition name and serial number.

A total of four units will be available: two with left-hand drive and two with right-hand drive. The price is ¥22,420,000, approximately ¥2.77 million higher than the base model. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in April of this year.
