The Story of Rolls-Royce's Muse Revealed in a New Video


Rolls-Royce has released the first installment, "Spirit of Ecstasy," of the Japanese subtitled version of "House of Rolls-Royce," its digital content introducing the brand. Simultaneously, it hinted at the upcoming arrival of the flagship saloon, thePhantomin the latter half of 2017.

Rolls-Royce has unveiled its first digital content introducing the brand. The video series, announced to continue for over a year, is expected to be related to the full model change of the "Phantom," scheduled for release in the latter half of next year.

This first installment tells the story of the birth of "Spirit of Ecstasy (The Flying Lady)," the muse of Rolls-Royce. The video was created using motion capture and 3D scanning technology, with narration by Oscar-winning actress and British native Kate Winslet. The story recounts how the Flying Lady, now a symbol of the brand and of luxury, came into being 105 years ago.

Furthermore, it introduces the brand's origins, detailing how Rolls-Royce's luxurious automobiles were created through the passion of many, including Charles Stewart Rolls and Frederick Henry Royce.



With sequels planned for release next year and beyond, we eagerly await the second episode alongside the unveiling of the new "Phantom" in the latter half of next year.
