Engine from the Top-End Model

The "Mégane R.S. 273," inheriting the powertrain from the "Mégane R.S. Trophy R" that set the fastest lap time for a production front-wheel-drive car at Germany's Nürburgring circuit in 2014, is now being introduced to Japan. While the engine remains the same 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder DOHC turbo, it delivers a maximum output of 201 kW (273 ps) and a peak torque of 360 Nm (36.7 kgm). It continues to be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Inside, it features Recaro bucket seats with a leather-look and fabric combination. Leather Recaro seats are available as an option. Additionally, Brembo monobloc 4-piston calipers are fitted to withstand rigorous sports driving.

The body colors are available in five options: Yellow "Jaune Sirius," White "Blanc Nacre," Red "Rouge Flamboyant," Silver "Gris Titanium," and Black "Noir Etoile." It is exclusively available in right-hand drive and is priced at 3.99 million yen.

Special equipment includes Öhlins dampers, highly regarded in racing and rallying, and an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system that contributes to weight reduction. It also features 19-inch Speedline alloy wheels and Recaro seats with a leather and Alcantara combination for the interior, making it a truly authentic sports model. The powertrain remains the same as the aforementioned "Mégane R.S. 273."

Body colors are available in three options: Jaune Sirius, Blanc Nacre, and Noir Etoile. The price is 4.56 million yen, with an additional charge of 156,600 yen for Jaune Sirius and 21,600 yen for Blanc Nacre.
