Equipped with the Same Powertrain as the "Trophy R"

Launched in Japan in September 2014 as a limited edition of 60 units.Mégane Renault Sport Trophy RThe "Mégane Renault Sport Trophy R" is the flagship model in the Mégane series, powered by a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 273ps. It demonstrated its high performance by setting a new fastest lap time for a production front-wheel-drive car at Germany's Nürburgring circuit.


The "Mégane R.S. 273 Trophy 2" announced this time shares the same engine as the Trophy R. It features an Akrapovič titanium muffler, weighing 4kg less than the standard model, and Recaro seats with a black-based leather and Alcantara combination for the interior. Additionally, it boasts F1-type air intake blades with TROPHY logos, along with an Alcantara steering wheel, handbrake handle, and shift boot.

The body colors include five options, among them Rouge Flammé Metallic and Gris Titanium Metallic, which are new to the Mégane Renault Sport.

A total of 150 units will be sold: 70 in Rouge Flammé Metallic, 35 in Jaune Sirius, 25 in Blanc Nacré Metallic, 10 in Noir Étoile Metallic, and 10 in Gris Titanium Metallic.

The price for the Trophy 2 is set lower than the Trophy R's sales price of 4.99 million yen, at 4.22 million yen.
