The Youngest Gordini Model Arrives
From the 1950s to the 1970s, "Amedée Gordini," a renowned tuner who made Renault's name known in the world of motorsport. A special model bearing his name has undergone a minor change and will go on sale in Japan from August 1st.

As recently reported on OPENERS,Sales to Begin in JapanRenault Japon announced that the release date would be August 1st.
The exterior has been primarily revised, with the front end in particular seeing a significant change in image due to the adoption of a bumper with integrated fog lamps and an "F1-style blade" at the bottom.
Previously, Gordini models were only available in one lineup: "Bleu Malte," a blue body color with white stripes. This time, a new color scheme has been added: "Blanc Glacier," a white body color with grey stripes.
The lightweight 1,050kg body is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter inline-4 engine producing a maximum output of 134ps/6,750rpm and a maximum torque of 160Nm/4,400rpm. It achieves 0-100km/h in 8.7 seconds and a top speed of 201km/h. The chassis employs the "Chassis Sport," which balances high driving performance with comfort, and the lower arms fitted to the front are made of aluminum.
Inside, new standard equipment includes an audio system with a USB jack compatible with Bluetooth, and the "R.S. Monitor," which displays and records data such as engine performance, braking, and G-forces. These have been newly added as standard equipment with this minor change.
The price is 2.45 million yen. All models are left-hand drive with a 5-speed manual transmission.
