Zagato is a Milan-based coachbuilder that has produced five collaborative models with Aston Martin, beginning with the "DB4 GT Zagato" in 1960 and most recently the "V12 Zagato" in 2011, leading up to the "Vanquish Zagato Concept" unveiled this time.V12 ZagatoThe "Vanquish Zagato Concept" unveiled this time.

The Vanquish Zagato Concept is the result of close collaboration between the Aston Martin design team and the Zagato design team. While maintaining Aston Martin's signature proportions, Zagato has emphasized its dynamism.

All bodywork is crafted from carbon fiber, utilizing large, one-piece panels to significantly reduce the number of visible seams. The circular taillights, featuring the same LED blades as the track-only "Vulcan," evoke Zagato's traditional rear-view design.Vulcanevoke Zagato's traditional rear-view design.

Furthermore, elements characteristic of Aston Martin design are incorporated throughout, such as the door mirrors derived from the "One-77," the sculpted rear end that echoes the aerodynamic profile of the "DB11," a retractable spoiler, and the rear hatch.One-77derived from the "One-77,"DB11the aerodynamic profile of the "DB11,"

The roof features Zagato's iconic "double bubble" design, a hallmark since the 1950s. The gentle curve of the roofline seamlessly flows into the rear window, creating a distinctive silhouette.

The interior offers a luxurious space, with a dashboard combining carbon fiber, anodized bronze, and aniline leather. The seats and door sections are adorned with a "Z" pattern quilting, the initial of Zagato. The "Z" motif is also embossed on the headrests and stitched onto the center console.

Engine performance has also been enhanced. The naturally aspirated V12 engine, which powers the base "Vanquish," has been upgraded from 568 hp to 600 hp.Vanquishhas been upgraded from 568 hp to 600 hp.

As this is a concept model, the planned production volume and price are yet to be determined.
